Welcome to the blog for foodie divorced (or separated) Dads that want to continue their foodiness with their kids, but are finding it harder to do so when they are cooking for fewer people, and have less time to do it.
I see you, brothers. I am there with you. I am one of you. We can do this.
Love your people; cook them tasty food.
Whether you are divorced, separated, unmarried, single, situationshipped, or somewhere on the “it’s complicated” spectrum, we have three things in common.
- We eat food nearly every day.
- Our children eat food nearly every day.
- We recognize the value of healthy and delicious food for ourselves and those we love the most.
- We love ourselves and our children enough to spend the extra money and time preparing tasty and nutritious meals as best we can.
Being a single dad might be the most delicious thing you and your children may ever experience.
They might call us “Barbeque Dads” (or “Barbecue Dads“, or “BBQ Dads“) out of jealousy. Good. Let them be jealous.
Let’s get started.
